Evidence of progress

D5 formal assessment: Listening (20) + Reading (10) + Writing (20) + Speaking (10) = 60 marks. D5 cumulative: D1–D5 = 300 marks. Return with: past tense suffix accuracy rate identified from writing/speaking (e.g. "8/12 past tense verbs were correctly suffixed"), 1 irregular verb to prioritise, 1 speaking note on tense accuracy under real-time pressure.

Optional follow-up

No formal homework. Optional: keep a daily Arabic diary this week (يوميات) — write 3 sentences each day in the past tense about what you did. Use a different verb each day. This is the most effective consolidation of the past tense through meaningful personal use.
