In English first (30 seconds): list the qualities of a great teacher. Write them in Arabic. Then list qualities of a poor teacher. Build two lists. You vote on the 3 most important qualities for a good teacher. Now personalise: "Think of your best teacher ever — describe them in 3 words." Write 3 adjectives (in Arabic if they know them, English otherwise). This sets up the whole lesson with genuine personal investment.

Study 10 new adjectives from the vocabulary list. Drill gender agreement: صارم/صارمة، عادل/عادلة، صبور/صبورة. Note: مُثير للاهتمام (interesting) — this phrase does not change for gender (لا تتغير). You fill in agreement table. Then sentences: "المعلِّمة لطيفة وصبورة. المعلِّم مُنظَّم وعادل." Use real school staff (with sensitivity — encourage positive descriptions). Write 4 sentences about different staff members.

Write a description of their favourite teacher or an invented teacher character: Sentence 1: Name and role (أستاذي/أستاذتي [name] مُعَلِّم/مُعَلِّمة [subject]). Sentence 2: Appearance (هو/هي [appearance adjectives]). Sentence 3: Personality (هو/هي [personality adjectives]). Sentence 4: What they do in class (يَشرَح/تَشرَح جيداً، يُساعِد/تُساعِد الطلاب). Sentence 5: Opinion (أنا أُحِبّ هذا المُعَلِّم لأنَّه/لأنَّها..). Extension (Sentence 6): relative clause — المعلِّم الذي..
