Each student reads their most grammatically sophisticated sentence from their writing — one that uses 2+ P2 grammar structures. teacher or partner affirms each: "This sentence uses كان قد (past perfect) AND أشار إلى أنَّ (reported speech) — two complex structures in one sentence. That is P2 Arabic at its best." This ritual of naming specific grammar structures develops metalinguistic awareness that directly supports exam performance.

Challenge: write 5 Arabic sentences, each using one of the 5 main grammar structures of P2. Time limit: 4 minutes. Read 4 student sets. Class checks: is كان قد correct? Is إنَّ/أنَّ correct? Is the Type 2 conditional complete (لَو + past + لـَ + past)? "P2 introduced more new grammar in 12 lessons than any other unit in F1–P6. Mastering all five structures — reported speech, past perfect, Type 1 and Type 2 conditionals, plus academic vocabulary — is a genuine achievement."
