2028 verbs in past tense: حجَز (booked — Form I past of يحجُز), أقام (stayed — Form IV past of يُقيم). Form VIII past: استمتع بـ (enjoyed), اكتشَف (discovered) — Form VIII past is slightly different from Form I in that the ا prefix disappears: يستمتع → استمتع (dropped initial hamza on alif in past). Dual-tense structure: past narrative (5–6 verbs) + future plans (2–3 sentences with سـ/سوف). كان من أجمل + definite noun: كان من أجمل الأماكن التي زُرتُها (it was one of the most beautiful places I have visited).
