Study the handwriting exemplar sheet. Choose their 3 worst letters from the dictation and practise each one 10 times carefully, focusing on: correct size, correct connections, correct diacritic placement. teacher or partner circulates and gives specific feedback ("Your ع is closing too much — keep it more open; your kasra needs to be further below the letter").

You look back at their very first lesson's writing (Lesson 1, exercise book) and compare to today's dictation. "What has improved?"
